The Maple Ridge ACT (Arts, Culture, Theatre) Arts Centre is a hub of the Maple Ridge community for more than 20 years. Opened in 2003, the centre hosts a myriad of memorable events, from local school bands and dance recitals to major productions and concerts. The Maple Ridge ACT also highlights and cultivates local talent through the Art Exhibitions and Arts Programs.
Maple Ridge ACT Transition
After careful consideration and over a year of discussions with the Maple Ridge Pitt Meadows Arts Council, City Council has directed staff to assume responsibility for the operations of the Maple Ridge ACT Arts Centre effective January 1, 2026, ensuring this much-loved facility continues to thrive as the community’s cultural hub. The City will work closely with ACT staff, contractors, artists, and community groups to support a smooth transition to deliver programming and events. Drama and artistic expression through music, dance and theatre have long been appreciated in Maple Ridge. Facilities like the ACT Arts Centre have been thriving for over a decade and contribute to the cultural experiences in Maple Ridge.
In addition to the ACT Arts Centre, there are numerous dance and music studios that perform at various venues year-round.
