Youth Services

For almost 30 years we have provided a safe, fun and supervised recreation environment for youth ages 13Y-18Y to participate in a variety of activities and opportunities. (Select opportunities available for preteens 10Y-12Y).

Our huge two floor, youth-dedicated facility has a multitude of activities and will provide something for everyone.
Rock Climbing Wall, Bouldering Wall, Indoor Skateboard / Scooter Park, Multi-Sport Court, Foosball, Ping Pong, Billiards, Air Hockey, Board Games, Video Games, opportunities to Volunteer and to make a difference in our community and an area to connect with other youth, are just some of the activities possible.

After over 2 decades of operation, and numerous awards including BC Parks and Rec Facility of the Year, and Child and Youth Friendly Community Award for innovation, our youth program continues its excellent work, partnerships with many community organizations and makes a real difference in our community.

Philosophy:
• Investment in youth is integral to creating a positive, engaged and successful community
• All programming is youth initiated
• Allowing youth to “own” the facility.
• Youth Focused
• Strength Based
• Focus on Process rather than outcome
• Program with youth rather than for youth

“I couldn’t imagine what my life would have been without The Greg Moore Youth Centre, it helped a young entrepreneur get his start.”
Kyle Dion – Owner, CEO of New Line Skateparks / Former Youth of The Greg Moore Youth Centre
