Small Business Week

 Momentum an inspiring evening of leadership, motivation, business insights, and community connection featuring legendary hockey icon and former Vancouver Canucks captain Trevor Linden.  

The event will take place at the ACT Arts Theatre on Thursday, October 22.

The home-based business fair will be in the lobby, hallway and outside of the ACT during Momentum - a business event.

The deadline to apply for a table is September 15.

Submission of an application does not guarantee participation in the Home-Based Business Fair. Applications will be reviewed based on overall event fit, variety of business types, and the goal of creating a balanced and diverse vendor lineup. Selected applicants will be contacted once the review process is complete.

Businesses will be informed by Friday, September 18.  Notifications to successful and unsuccessful applicants will go out by email.

Yes.  The cost of the table is $80 plus taxes and includes a ticket to the Trevor Linden presentation at Momentum.

To help make your table engaging and informative, vendors are encouraged to bring clear signage, business cards, promotional materials, product samples or displays, and any items that help showcase their business. Interactive elements such as giveaways, demonstrations, or QR codes are also encouraged where appropriate.

The fair will be on Thursday, October 22 from 3:30-7 pm at the ACT.

Each vendor will be provided with one 6-foot table, a tablecloth, and two chairs. Vendors are welcome to bring their own branded table covering if preferred. All marketing materials, promotional items, and giveaways are the responsibility of the vendor.

Vendors will be assigned a location within the ACT, which may include the lobby, the hallway leading into the lobby, the covered area outside the front entrance, or the upstairs mezzanine.

Doors open at 3:30 p.m. at the ACT, and presentations begin at 4:30 p.m.

Your vendor ticket also includes a seat in the theatre. During the presentation, you may choose to remain at your table or attend the presentation until guests return to the vendor area.

The presentation concludes at 6:00 p.m., and vendors may remain at their tables until attendees exit the facility.

Please note that your ticket does not include access to the post-event gathering in the small theatre.

Chamber members are invited to submit photos and stories that can be highlighted on the Chamber's social media platforms during Small Business Week through the Member Spotlight Series. Businesses must fill out a short form by Friday, October 10 at 5:00 PM to be considered.
