Communication Enhancements
The City is enhancing how it communicates with residents by using:
- Alert Maple Ridge (Alertable) for emergency alerts
- The City News webpage and Voyent Alert for non-emergency city notices and updates
This change creates a clearer distinction between urgent emergency notifications and routine City information, following community feedback requesting more choice and clarity in notifications.
Please note: Residents currently receiving emergency notifications through Voyent Alert must sign up for Alert Maple Ridge before October 1, 2026 to continue receiving critical emergency alerts.

Current City Notices
Looking for Emergency Alerts?
Starting October 1, all City-issued emergency alerts including fires, floods, earthquakes, severe weather, evacuation notices, and other hazards will only be delivered through Alert Maple Ridge, powered by Alertable.
Emergency alerts are issued separately from non-emergency notices to ensure urgent public safety information is clear and easy to identify.
Residents and businesses currently receiving emergency alerts through Voyent Alert must sign up for Alert Maple Ridge to continue receiving emergency notifications after October 1.
