Appear as a Delegation to Council

At each Committee of the Whole and Regular Council Meeting, Council invites presentations by citizens or other parties on issues affecting Maple Ridge.

Request to Appear as a Delegation to Council

 A delegation will only be heard by Council if a Delegation Request Form is submitted by 12:00 noon at least one week prior to the preferred Meeting and approved by the Corporate Officer. Due to time constraints, it is necessary to limit delegation appearances to ten minutes.

Regular Council Meetings generally take place the second and fourth Tuesday of the month beginning at 7 pm. Committee of the Whole Meetings generally take place on the first and third Tuesday of the month, beginning at 11 am. Please check the Council calendar for dates.

Meetings take place in Council Chambers on the main floor of the Municipal Hall.

The requester's name, organization name, speaker names, subject matter, and your request of Council will be published on our website and in other public areas.   

Requests will be assessed in accordance with the criteria in the Council Meeting policy.
