The 2020 - 2030 Maple Ridge Child Care Action Plan is the first child care needs assessment undertaken by the City of Maple Ridge.
The purpose of this report is to better understand the child care needs of families and identify key strategies to support space creation targets over the next 10 years, as well as, provide a resource for the City, child care operators and community partners to address current and future child care needs.
Background & Plan Development
Maple Ridge received a $25,000 grant to create a Child Care Action Plan in Spring 2019 from the provincial Community Child Care Planning Program, through the Union of BC Municipalities. The Child Care Action Plan has been endorsed by City Council.
