New Short-Term Rental regulations are being proposed. On January 14, 2025, Council directed Staff to return with amending bylaws to implement this program. This work is underway, see the Workshop Report for background information.
On March 25, 2025, the Short-Term Rental amending bylaw package and associated Report attended both Commitee of the Whole and Regular Council for consideration. The Zone Amending Bylaw component of this work is anticipated to attend Public Hearing in April 2025.

Once regulations are adopted, the City will be able to receive applications for Short-Term Rentals. In the meantime, please familiarize yourself with the Province's Short-Term Rental portal.
