As of April 2025, City Council endorsed a Short-Term Rental framework which now allows Short-Term Rentals (i.e. Airbnb, VRBO, Bed & Breakfasts) to operate in Maple Ridge.
Short-Term Rental applications are now being accepted with the City of Maple Ridge!
Complete applications can be submitted at the Bylaw, Licensing and Community Safety Department, located in the Randy Herman Building at 11996 Edge Street. The application package can be found here to be printed and filled out prior to submission. You can also pick up an application at the Randy Herman Building or City Hall's front desks. Online submissions are not currently available.

Proposed Regulatory Framework
While the City is now receiving applications for Short-Term Rentals, the Province has additional licencing requirements. Please make sure to familiarize yourself with the Province's Short-Term Rental Portal and its requirements.
