Fraser River Escarpment

The Fraser River Escarpment is an area of geotechnical complexity adjacent to the north bank of the Fraser River from 207 Street to 224 Street with an area of influence extending as far north as 124 Avenue.

The crest of the escarpment has experienced occasional sloughs and slides of various degrees over time and has been extensively studied by geotechnical engineering consultants for both the BC government and the City since 1979.
