Innovation Challenge

The $10,000 Innovation Challenge honours businesses that harness outstanding innovation to make a meaningful impact on the community, economy or environment. Our aim is to inspire entrepreneurship, foster creativity, resourcefulness, and sustainable growth in Maple Ridge.

2025 Challenge

This year's challenge will have two different streams (categories): Business to Consumer companies and Business to Business companies.  We will be looking for innovative products, services or processes.

Business to Business (B2B)

Businesses that sell directly to other businesses can be innovative in a variety of ways, often focusing on improving efficiencies, optimizing workflows, or creating new value propositions for their clients.

Businesses that sell directly to consumers focus on meeting the needs and desires of customers.  Innovation in B2C companies often revolves around customer experience, product offerings and accessibility.
