Know an innovative business? Nominate them! We're looking for businesses that have an innovative new product, process or service that has been highly successful or added value.  You may nominate your own company or someone else’s and any businesses are qualified and encouraged to apply. Challenge Timeline

June 1 to September 2: Nominate a business for the Maple Ridge Innovation Challenge.

September 3: Nominees are contacted by City of Maple Ridge Economic Development staff for a more thorough description (via entry form) of their business and their innovative product, process or service.   The business must be in Maple Ridge and have a current business license in Maple Ridge.

September 15: Deadline for businesses to submit entry form.

September 18: Finalists are notified.  They will be chosen by a panel of Economic Development staff. 

September 23 to 30: Finalists will be interviewed in person.  A videographer will attend the business and a short video description of the innovation will be created.  The video will be 1-2 minutes long and the business will describe, display or demonstrate their innovation. The videos, along with the entry form, will be submitted for judging. 

October: Winners will be announced during Small Business Month in October.
