After considerable deliberation, seven finalists have been chosen. The following businesses will be moving along to the next phase of the challenge:

Challenge Timeline
June 1 to September 2: Nominate a business for the Maple Ridge Innovation Challenge.
On or before September 3: After receipt of their nomination, nominees will be contacted by City of Maple Ridge Economic Development staff for a more thorough description (via entry form) of their business and their innovative product, process or service. The business must be in Maple Ridge and have a current business license in Maple Ridge.
September 8: Deadline for businesses to submit entry form.
September 10: Finalists are notified. They will be chosen by a panel of Economic Development staff.
September 10 to 30: Finalists will be interviewed in person. A videographer will attend the business and a short video description of the innovation will be created. The video will be 1-2 minutes long and the business will describe, display or demonstrate their innovation. The videos, along with the entry form, will be submitted for judging.
October: Winners will be announced on October 21 at the Patch Brewery . Tickets available here.
