- Many local parks and lakes are popular summer destinations. Parking is limited and lots may fill up quickly during peak times.
- Consider carpooling, walking, cycling, or using transit where possible.
- Be prepared with an alternate destination in case your preferred location is full.
Parks & Recreation
Maple Ridge offers a wide variety of parks, trails, recreation programs and amenities for you and your family to explore.
Important Summer Reminders
As you're out this summer enjoying all that Maple Ridge has to offer, here are a few key reminders so that we can continue to enjoy our beautiful parks, trails, rivers and wildlife for years to come!
Recreation Programs, Facilities, and Partners
Active living is essential to personal health and quality of life and we aspire to provide positive, inclusive activities that help build strong families and healthy communities.
In addition to drop-in programming at facilities like the Maple Ridge Leisure Centre, Albion Community Centre, and Greg Moore Youth Centre, the PRC Program Guide is published four times per year with opportunities for you to explore.
We are proud to work with various not-for-profit community organizations, agencies and businesses, such as the Ridge Meadows Seniors Centre Society, museum and heritage societies and School District No. 42 - to ensure our opportunities are as diverse as our community.
Financial Assistance
Parks and Recreation also provides a number of services like recreation access/financial assistance programs and community planning tables for healthy community initiatives. Customer Experience functions include facility/arena bookings, indoor court bookings and program registration/memberships.
