Join in the festive fun with our holiday photo contest running from Decemeber 1 - January 3!

How to Participate

1. Take a photo of how you celebrate the season.
2. Starting on December 1, submit your photo at Engage.MapleRidge.ca/ShareTheMagic
3. Vote for your favourites with $1200 in gift cards and prizes on the line! 
4. The top 12 photos will win $50 in downtown business gift cards and City swag valued at $50. Winners will be announced on Jan. 6 and photos will be shared on City’s social media channels.

VOTING CRITERIA

• The judging panel? It’s YOU – the community! Cast your votes for your festive faves throughout the contest to help crown the winners. Power to the people!

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• Eligibility: The contest is open to kids and adults. Only entries submitted by an adult 18+ that is a local resident will be considered - because someone has to adult here.
• Entry Period: Snap and send your pics starting December 1 - January 3.
• Submission Limit: Three entries max per person. Choose your best shots!
• Rights: By entering, participants grant us the right to use, publish, and display their content in connection with the contest and for promotional purposes.
• Winners: Winners will be notified via the email provided during entry submission on January 6. Check your inbox (and spam folder)!

Join us for the FREE family-friendly Winter Fest, featuring the Santa Claus Parade, seasonal crafts, a Christmas market, and other holiday favourites. This annual celebration is proudly hosted by the Maple Ridge Christmas Festival Society and the Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association.

Donations accepted - Friends in Need Food Bank and Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows Christmas Hamper Society.

Head to the Port Haney West Coast Express Station on December 19 at 7:00 PM to await the arrival of the CPKC Holiday Train at 7:50PM.

Enjoy FREE performances by Magic! & Sofia Camara from 8:00 PM - 8:30 PM. 

Saturday, December 22 | 5:15 PM - 8:00 PM | Planet Ice

Join us for a free public skate at Planet Ice on Sunday, December 22, from 5:15 PM to 8:00 PM. Enjoy skating in a decorated rink that promises a magical experience for all attendees!

Please note - Skate and helmet rentals are not included.

Monday, December 9 | 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM | Greg Moore Youth Centre

Join us for our annual Shred Share Stoked Skateboard competition. All proceeds will go to help a family in need this holiday season. We will also be accepting non-perishable food items for the food bank.

Starting Friday, December 6 | Maple Ridge Cemetery

Residents are invited to the Maple Ridge Cemetery to hang a holiday decoration in memory of a loved one. Photos, messages or a simple ornament may be hung on the 
tree with care.
