Starting January 1, 2026, the ACT Arts Centre will officially be operated by the City of Maple Ridge. We’re excited to begin this new chapter and look forward to continuing to serve our community with vibrant arts, culture, and event programming.

Main Stage Theatre
The Mainstage is an intimate, 486-seat proscenium style theatre. Featuring a 40′ x 80′ sprung floor, extensive technical resources, including an impressive 39 line set fly tower, computerized lighting, projector, and extensive sound system, using the Mainstage is a rewarding experience for performers and audiences alike.

Studio Theatre
The Studio Theatre is adjacent to the Main Stage Theatre and directly accessible from the lobby. The beautiful sprung hardwood floor and flexible draperies make this room an ideal location for smaller performances, banquets, weddings, post-show gatherings or meetings. The Studio Theatre is a “black box” style theatre measuring 2,311 square feet. The number of seats varies depending on configuration and staging requirements. Dozens of flexible seating plans are available for up to 150 people.

Lobby
The ACT Arts Centre lobby is a bright, spacious area with a bar. This 3,000 square foot space has an entire wall of two story windows with a view of Memorial Peace Park. Ideal for receptions, networking events and celebrations of life.
2D Studio
The 1,400 square foot (41′ x 35′) 2D drawing and painting studio is on the second floor of the arts centre and has a capacity for 40 people seated lecture style. Alternate seating plans are also available. The 2D Studio is equiped with Pulastic sports flooring. This makes it ideal for indoor athletics, fitness and more. The Pulastic sports floor system offers the ideal mix of protection and sports opportunities in all circumstances.
Craft Studio
The 800 square foot (20′ x 41′) Craft Studio offers an informal location for groups of up to 30 people.
