The City of Maple Ridge plans to upgrade the 270A Street water reservoir.

Description

In preparation for future growth and development in the northeast area of Maple Ridge, the 270A Street water reservoir will be upgraded to increase the water supply capacity for residents. The project will involve structural, mechanical, and operational improvements to ensure a reliable water distribution system.

The project will provide:

• Increased water storage capacity—ensuring a reliable water supply for current and future residents
• Reduced risk of water shortages—addressing peak usage periods and emergency situations
• Enhanced water quality—upgrading filtration and disinfection systems

Status

Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2026 and complete in the summer of 2027.
