TransLink is advising that crews will be repaving a 30-metre section of Golden Ears Way in the southbound direction near Airport Way on June 3 and 4 from 9 pm to 5 am. To support this road maintenance work, a portion of the southbound direction after the Airport Way merger will be closed. One lane in the southbound direction will always remain open. Only southbound traffic entering the City of Langley will be affected. Northbound traffic will not be affected. See Location on Google Maps.

Impacts:

  • Traffic will be detoured via the Airport Way merger. Vehicles heading southbound will use the roundabout and merge onto Golden Ears Bridge.
  • In some areas, only a single lane will be open.
  • Expect delays and please plan for extra travel time
  • Traffic signage and personnel will be in place to guide drivers
  • Route 595 bus towards Langley Centre may experience minor delays
