The leisure pool at Maple Ridge Leisure Centre is temporarily closed following an incident involving broken tempered glass swim goggles.
As a precaution, staff are completing a thorough assessment and cleaning process to make sure the pool is safe to reopen. Teams responded right away and are taking every necessary step to confirm that no glass fragments remain.
- The leisure pool will remain CLOSED until at least Wednesday, July 1
- Preschool, parent & tot and family lessons are canceled. Refunds will be issued.
- All other swim lessons will be accommodated in other pools where possible.
- The competition pool, teach pool, lazy river, hot tub, steam room and water slide remain open.
