Hiking and Camping

Over 150 km of trails, ranging from easy walks to the majestic Lower Falls trail to challenging alpine hikes like the mighty Golden Ears Summit Trail. Camp overnight at Alder Flats with secure food/garbage storage lockers and tent spaces. 

Paddling and Fishing

Canoe, kayak, or paddle-boat across the stunning, glacial-fed Alouette lake. Rent a boat from the Day-Use Area. Cast a line into pristine waters—with a valid fishing licence of course!

Equestrian Trails

Camp with your horse at the Woodlands group site, or ride through designated horseback trails with stunning mountain backdrops. Golden Ears Park features over 20km of gravel and dirt horse trails. Check the park map to find designated areas for equestrian activities. 

Cycling

Golden Ears is a cyclist’s paradise, offering over 20 km of scenic backcountry trails winding through lush forests, rugged terrain, and breathtaking mountain views. Whether you prefer a leisurely ride or an off-road adventure, there's a trail for you! E-bikes are also allowed, with regulated use to ensure environmental protection. Wheel Chair Accessibility

Visitors will find wheelchair-accessible restrooms at the campgrounds and South Beach day-use area. The Spirea Universal Access Trail offers a scenic, wheelchair-friendly path perfect for all ability levels. Fully accessible showers are available at Gold Creek and Alouette campgrounds, ensuring comfort after a day of adventure.
