Hi, my name is Chris Sandve. I'm running for School Trustee in SD 42 Maple Ridge-Pitt Meadows.
3 Reasons to Vote for Me:
I'm a Parent: My wife and I have three kids in the district.
I'm Experienced: I am a Senior Manager at a major public utility. I understand board governance and budgets.
I'm a Team Player: If elected, I will work collaboratively with my fellow trustees to achieve the best outcomes for students.
3 Priorities if Elected:
Safe and Inclusive Schools: Every student deserves to learn in an environment where they feel safe and respected.
Improving Literacy and Numeracy: These are foundational skills. While good progress has been made, we must do more to support students and teachers in these critical areas.
Increased Classroom Support: I will work with my fellow trustees to focus every dollar on increased classroom resources.
