The drainage network on 230 Street and Eagle Avenue is being upgraded to improve drainage in the surrounding neighbourhood.

Description

As the project has progressed, we have learned that drainage improvements on 230 Street and Eagle Avenue will be sufficient for neighbourhood needs and, therefore, we do not anticipate any work to occur along Gee Street or 123 Avenue. Instead, the drainage main on 230 Street (between Eagle Avenue and a drainage outfall just north of Harry Hooge Elementary) will be upgraded and a new drainage connection between Eagle Avenue and 230 Street will be installed.

Status

The project is currently in design. Construction is anticipated to begin in the second half of 2026 and complete in 2027.
