Road upgrades on Donovan Avenue, Wicklow Way, 220 Street, and Selkirk Avenue to improve cycling facilities in this neighbourhood are complete. An additional multi-use path is being installed on 216 Street to connect the improved bikeway to Dewdney Trunk Road.

A new multi-use path is being installed on 216 Street, between Donovan Avenue and Dewdney Trunk Road, to connect the new bikeway to Dewdney Trunk Road. The multi-use path will be 3 m wide and located on the east side of 216 Street.

The construction of traffic safety improvements along the bikeway were completed in March 2026. They include:

  • Speed humps approximately every 100 metres
  • Revised speed limit to 30 km/h
  • Supportive signage and pavement markings

Status

Construction of the multi-use path will begin in June 2026 and complete in September 2026.
