Golden Ears Bridge Sidewalk Closures – August 18 to September 30

TransLink will be conducting maintenance and repair work on the Golden Ears Bridge, requiring temporary sidewalk closures on both the east and west sides from August 18 - September 30.

Closure Schedule

  • East sidewalk: Closed Monday, August 18 – Friday, August 29
  • West sidewalk: Closed Saturday, August 30 – Tuesday, September 30

Pedestrian & Cycling Impacts

  • The affected sidewalk will be fully closed during its scheduled dates.
  • Directional signage will be posted to redirect pedestrians and cyclists to the opposite sidewalk.

Driver Impacts

  • Occasional lane closures may occur during non-peak hours to allow for material delivery.

Transit Impacts

  • No anticipated impacts.

This closure is required for crews to safely complete essential maintenance and repairs on the bridge.
