The City of Maple Ridge is upgrading the 270A Street water reservoir.

Description

In preparation for future growth and development in the northeast area of Maple Ridge, the 270A Street water reservoir is being upgraded to increase the water supply capacity for residents. The project will involve structural, mechanical, and operational improvements to ensure a reliable water distribution system.

The project will provide:

• Increased water storage capacity—ensuring a reliable water supply for current and future residents
• Reduced risk of water shortages—addressing peak usage periods and emergency situations
• Enhanced water quality—upgrading filtration and disinfection systems

Status

Pre-construction activities are currently underway on site. Construction is scheduled to begin in August 2026 and complete in summer 2027.
