Thank you to those who provided input through our engagement survey last fall.
To view the concept plan please visit Engage.MapleRidge.ca/FairviewParkUpgrade with the proposed park improvements including new play features, a junior bike track, and nature play area.
Next steps will include a request for proposal process to determine a playground equipment supplier as well as a contractor for the construction of the junior bike track.

Project Description
Fairview Park was developed in 1995 and includes two playgrounds, walking pathways through a grove of mature trees, a basketball court, and tennis court.
The playground for children ages 2 – 5 years is located near the entrance to the park on 122 Ave. and the playground for children ages 5 -12 years is located close to Fairview Elementary School.

These playgrounds are currently over 25 years of age and are showing signs of wear. This park renovation initiative aims to ensure that the new play structures continue the City’s commitment to providing safe play environments that meet the needs and preferences of local families. The City is proposing to replace both playgrounds at Fairview Park as part of the City’s Parks Lifecycle Replacement program.
