The City of Maple Ridge has completed the conversion of the four-way stop intersection at 224 Street and 124 Avenue to a traffic signal intersection.

This intersection is located on the edge of the town centre and, with the growth in the city core, this intersection has been modernized to reflect current use and accommodate future growth. Part of the modifications included the addition of curb bulges and letdowns to support mobility for all users.

ISL Engineering and Land Services Ltd. completed the design of the project. Crown Contracting Limited completed the construction of the project. Construction was completed in September 2023.
