McClure Drive (240 Street to 245 Street)

Traffic calming measures were implemented on McClure Drive at the request of residents via the Traffic Calming Program.

The City offers a Traffic Calming Program to residents concerned with traffic volumes, speeding, and short-cutting in their neighbourhoods. This program is guided by the Traffic Calming Policy.

Improvements include:

  • Intersection improvements at McClure Drive and 240 Street
  • Speed cushions along McClure Drive
  • Pedestrian crossing improvements at McClure Drive and 245 Street
  • Inclusion of McClure Drive in the City's speed reader board rotation

Construction completed in August 2025. These traffic calming measures will be monitored to evaluate if further measures are required.
