The City of Maple Ridge extends its heartfelt gratitude to Superintendent Wendy Mehat for her extraordinary leadership and unwavering dedication to our community during her tenure as Officer-in-Charge of the Ridge Meadows RCMP for the last four years.
Superintendent Mehat’s visionary approach to policing, exemplified through initiatives like the Ridge Family and Youth Resources Support Team (Ridge FYRST) and Project C.O.R.E., has made a lasting impact in Maple Ridge.
Her commitment to community safety and well-being, combined with her compassionate leadership during challenging times, including the loss of Constable Rick O’Brien, has left an indelible mark on our city.
