A rainfall and strong wind warning is in effect for Maple Ridge, with heavy rain expected from this afternoon through Thursday.

Rainfall totals could reach 50 to 90 mm, with strong southeast winds reaching 70 km/h and gusts up to 100 km/h. This storm poses increased risks of water pooling on roads, difficult travel, possible utility outages and potential washouts, flooding, and landslides.

A high streamflow advisory remains in effect from the BC River Forecast Centre

Minor flooding is possible in low-lying areas, and higher flows are possible if precipitation is higher than forecasted. View river levels at MapleRidge.ca/Flood.
