Maple Ridge, B.C., Nov. 5, 2025 – The City of Maple Ridge continues to make strong progress in delivering on Council’s Strategic Plan priorities for 2023–2026, with nearly half of all key results now completed.
The Q3 2025 update introduces a refreshed reporting format that puts greater focus on measurable outcomes, giving residents a clearer picture of how the City’s work delivers value to the community. The City will continue sharing success stories through the Maple Ridge Delivers campaign—showcasing how strategic projects are enhancing everyday life for residents and strengthening community pride.
The updated report highlights that 37 key results (49%) and 64 initiatives (49%) have now been completed across the Plan’s five strategic priorities: Liveable Community, Climate Leadership & Environmental Stewardship, Engaged Healthy Community, Diversified Thriving Economy, and Governance & Corporate Excellence.
“This report demonstrates that we’re not just checking boxes and we’re continuously looking at how we make progress on our goals and objectives,” said Mayor Dan Ruimy. “From advancing infrastructure and housing projects to supporting local businesses and strengthening community safety, every completed key result represents meaningful change that improves life for our residents. We’re committed to staying accountable as we continue to deliver on the community’s priorities.”
New Dashboard Focused on Results
The Q3 update also launches a new format for the City’s community dashboard, shifting the focus from tracking initiatives to tracking key results, which are the major deliverables that demonstrate meaningful progress toward each Council objective. Residents can explore these results and their related initiatives directly through the interactive dashboard at MapleRidge.ca/CouncilStratPlan.
“The shift to key results reporting strengthens our focus on the outcomes that matter most to residents,” said Phil Sanderson, Manager of Corporate Strategy and Business Transformation. “By presenting progress at a strategic level, we can show not just the actions we’re taking, but the real-world impact those actions have in making Maple Ridge a more liveable and thriving community.”
