Maple Ridge, B.C., May 4, 2026 – The City of Maple Ridge is on track to complete almost all key results under Council’s 2023–2026 Strategic Plan by the end of the year, marking significant progress toward delivering on Council’s four-year term priorities.
The City has released its Q1 2026 update on Council’s Strategic Plan, highlighting completed work and new key results introduced to respond to emerging priorities.
The plan is guided by an Objectives and Key Results (OKR) approach, ensuring progress is measurable, transparent, and focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for residents. Most original key results have already been completed, and progress continues in Q1 2026 on additional key results added throughout the term of the plan.
“When Council started our term, we had bold goals in mind, and we’re proud to see this work being completed over the past four years,” said Mayor Dan Ruimy. “This is about delivering what matters—safe communities, strong local businesses, and the infrastructure and services our residents rely on every day. We’re on track to complete the work we set out to do, while continuing to build for our growing community.”
Key results on track for completion
Council’s Strategic Plan included 61 original key results, with additional key results added over time to reflect emerging priorities—17 in 2025 and 16 in 2026. These additions have strengthened the City’s ability to respond to new opportunities while staying aligned with Council’s vision.
