The City of Maple Ridge has completed road improvements on Abernethy Way from 230 Street to 232 Street. 

This project included:

  • A crossing over Balabanian Creek
  • Reinstatement of the multi-use pathway
  • Improvements to the crosswalk at 231 Street
  • Efficiency and safety improvements at the intersection of Abernethy Way and 232 Street
  • A new pedestrian crossing at 232 Street and 122 Avenue
  • Intersection efficiency improvements at the intersection of 232 Street and Dewdney Trunk Road

Aplin & Martin Consultants Ltd. completed the design and Jack Cewe Construction Ltd. constructed the project. Construction was completed in the spring of 2023.
