Laity Street Fire Update (Mar 13, 8:30 AM) 

🚒Maple Ridge Fire & Rescue crews remain on scene of an overnight fire at a vacant two-storey apartment building on Laity Street (between Lougheed Hwy and Dewdney Trunk Rd). No injuries reported. 

🚧ROAD CLOSURE: Laity Street is closed from Lougheed Hwy to Dewdney Trunk Rd and is expected to remain closed for most of the day. 
Barricades are in place and Ridge Meadows RCMP are assisting with traffic control. Please use an alternate route and expect delays. 

25 firefighters and 8 fire apparatus were on scene and investigation is underway to determine the cause. Thank you for your patience. 🙏
