Maple Ridge, B.C., Dec. 23, 2024 – The City of Maple Ridge is advising residents to prepare for a series of storm systems to bring significant rainfall and gusty winds starting this afternoon and continuing through to Thursday morning.
A special weather statement for wind and rain has been issued by Environment Canada.
What to Expect
- Rainfall: 50-80mm of total rain is expected with periods of heavy downpours at rates as high as 6-10mm per hour on Tuesday and Wednesday.

- City crews are clearing drains, preparing city infrastructure, monitoring rivers and are ready to respond as needed.
