The City of Maple Ridge is advising residents, businesses, and visitors of an upcoming large-scale filming activity in and around Memorial Peace Park. Two major TV productions will be on location, resulting in full road closures and temporary traffic impacts. 224th Street will remain open but may be affected by intermittent traffic lockups for filming. Film crews will not be permitted to use the underground parkade, however parkade access will be limited to Dewdney Trunk Road and Edge Street.
The City is working closely with production teams to minimize disruptions and ensure community events continue smoothly. Pedestrians will be able to move through Memorial Peace Park to access city facilities but are asked to please observe requests and instructions from the production staff.
