City of Maple Ridge Wins Three International Creative and Brand Awards

Maple Ridge, B.C., April 30, 2026 – The City of Maple Ridge's continued bold and creative approach to branding and communications has won three Hermes Creative Awardsincluding a Platinum award for the Explore Events & Experiences guide. 

The Hermes Creative Awards, now in its 31st year, is one of the world's largest creative competitions. The City's work has been selected out of thousands of nominees ranging from individuals to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies across several countries. 

"We're honoured that our City's brand strategy continues to garner global recognition," said Mayor Ruimy. "Our dynamic visuals reflect the bold and strategic actions we're taking on key initiatives to create a vibrant future for Maple Ridge."

The City received three global awards for: 

 

  • Platinum Award – 2026 Explore Maple Ridge Events and Experiences Guide 
  • Gold Award – Bylaw Fleet Visual Identity System 
  • Gold Award – Real Ridge Podcast 

These awards build on Maple Ridge's previous Hermes wins and recognition from the International Association of Business Communicators, MarCom Awards and Viddy Awards for the City's brand strategy, tourism campaign and creative video content.
