Due to the current storm system, City crews have set up a Department Operations Centre (DOC) to respond to a number of issues in the community. Crews will work diligently to reopen the closed roads and clear debris as soon as possible. BC Hydro has been notified regarding all calls for wires down. We appreciate your patience during the cleanup of this storm.

Follow posted signage/detours and adopt the four-way stop procedure if you encounter traffic signal failures at intersections.

 Power Outages: BC Hydro reports that 11,265 customers in Maple Ridge remain without power. Residents are asked to report outages directly to BC Hydro and get updates at BChydro.com/Power-Outages.

 Stay at least 10 metres away from any downed power lines and call **BC Hydro at 1-800-BCHYDRO or HYDRO (49376) immediately.

Maple Ridge - Pitt Meadows School District No. 42 has announced that schools are closed today due to power outages.

Sandbags are available for residents in flood-prone areas at the City’s Operations Centre (23925 Dewdney Trunk Road).
