Under Construction
Construction began on the washrooms, picnic shelters and parking lot upgrades at Maple Ridge Park the week of March 23, 2026.
The existing washroom, large picnic shelter, playground and spray park will remain open during construction. A portion of the north parking lot will be used as construction staging and will be closed to the public.
Refer to the FAQs on the Engage project page for more information about how the park may be impacted during construction.
Project Description
As part of the park renewal plan for Maple Ridge Park, upgraded picnic shelters, washrooms and parking will help ensure that park facilities meet the needs of park visitors and complement the new playground and spray park.
Due to aging facilities and infrastructure in the park, the renewal of this destination park is needed to improve its functionality, accessibility, and sustainability to meet the current and future needs of our community.
