Construction Complete

The gravel overflow parking construction is complete. The parking lot opened to the public in May 2026. 

The new crosswalk, complete with pedestrian-activated flashing beacons, was completed in August 2026.

Project Description

A gravel overflow parking lot will be added north of 132 Ave to accommodate more park visitors in summer season and during construction of the new washroom, shelters and parking lots.

The new gravel lot will include over 100 new parking stalls and a crosswalk connecting to the multi-use path across the street.
