Maple Ridge, B.C., January 28, 2025 – Known for its hidden gems and unique culinary scene inspired by both ethnic, urban and farm-fresh influences, the City of Maple Ridge is inviting food lovers to take part in Dine Out Maple Ridge 2025.
Running from January 22 to February 9, this tourism initiative invites residents and visitors alike to celebrate the city’s participation in the annual Dine Out Vancouver (DOV) Festival 2025 by trying out six Maple Ridge favourites, including: Ban Chok Dee, The Keg Steakhouse, Andiamo’s Pizza and Pasta House, GM Restaurant, Ricky’s Country Restaurant, and Kingfishers Waterfront Bar & Grill.
“Our local dining scene is a true reflection of Maple Ridge’s vibrant community,” said Tyler Westover, Director of Economic Development for the City of Maple Ridge. “Dine Out Maple Ridge is about shining a spotlight on the incredible talent and creativity of our local chefs while also giving a meaningful boost to small businesses. It’s a chance to celebrate the rich flavors and entrepreneurial spirit that define our community.”
For a limited time during the Dine Out event, the city is offering residents a chance to win one of three $100 gift cards to any local eatery of their choosing by spreading the word on social media – more details below or at MapleRidge.ca/DineOut.
Why Dining Local Matters
With more than 80 local and independent eateries, ranging from cozy cafés and bistros to lively pubs and breweries, Maple Ridge’s dining scene is a cornerstone of its community spirit and vibrancy. City establishments, many of which are family-owned and operated, foster connections, create jobs, boost tourism and keep the local economy thriving. For every $100 spent at a local restaurant, $68 stays in the local BC economy, fueling growth and enriching the lives of residents.
Recognizing the challenges small businesses face during less busy months, the City of Maple Ridge, in association with the Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association and the Ridge Meadows Chamber of Commerce, have launched a contest to help raise awareness for the Dine Out Maple Ridge event and to give residents a chance to win gift cards to any local eatery of their choosing, further supporting our treasured local businesses.

- Dine In: Visit a restaurant participating in the Dine Out event or another local spot and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere and delicious fare. Check out 6 unique trip itineraries on our website at MapleRidge.ca/DineOut.
- Order Takeout: Bring your favourite flavours home.
- Buy a Gift Card: Treat yourself or a loved one to a future dining experience.
- Spread the Word: Tell a friend, share your experience on social media, or join our contest – details below.
Dine Out Contest Details
From Jan.22 to Feb. 9, 2024 residents can help spread the word about Dine Out Maple Ridge by partaking in the social media contest. Look for any of our Dine Out posts on Instagram or Facebook, then Like, Share/Save, and @Mention a friend in a comment on the post for a chance to win one of three $100 gift cards to any Maple Ridge restaurant, café, pub, brewery, or bistro.
We’ll randomly select 3 winners from both platforms from everyone with a verified comment and engagement activity. Winners will be announced by March 1, 2025 via Instagram or Facebook direct message.
