Maple Ridge is my hometown and I love it here. I left to study at UBC and live abroad but moved back in 2007 to raise my kids.
I have a range of financial, strategic, communications, and management experience from 16 years with Ridge Meadows Recycling Society. I have worked hard to grow the community I want. Among other things, I co-founded Hammond Neighbours, organize the annual Earth Day festival and started Maple Ridge Repair Cafes.
Lately, there’s been a new energy at City Hall. A Better Maple Ridge team’s focus on progress and prioritizing kindness and diversity convinced me to run with them.
I am passionate about equality, social inclusion, cultural humility, reconciliation, the environment, arts and culture, and being the change we wish to see in the world. I love to hike with my dog, Rain, and perform on the “Bard on the Bandstand” stage with my family.
