Korleen has spent more than a decade in public service, first on the Maple Ridge–Pitt Meadows School Board and now on Maple Ridge City Council. She was first elected to the School Board in 2014, served as Chair from 2018 to 2022, and was elected to Council in 2022.
Since being elected to Council, Korleen has focused on recreation, families, and community spaces that bring people together. She has helped modernize the city's policies, been a champion for the arts as a former president of the arts council, and helped expand necessary infrastructure.
She has worked at the BCGEU since 2005 and previously owned a 450 student dance studio in Port Moody.
She is grateful for the opportunity to serve the community and respects the responsibly that comes with the role of city councillor.
Korleen currently lives in Albion with her husband, two children, & a black lab named Rubi.
