The existing floating dock at Whonnock Lake is being removed and replaced with a new floating dock and boathouse.

Description

The current floating dock adjacent to the Whonnock Lake Centre will be replaced with a new floating dock and boathouse to better support community boating programs.

This project will be completed in two phases. Phase 1 will include the floating dock and boathouse platform and phase 2 will include the boathouse structure.

Status

Construction of Phase 1 is now complete. The new floating dock is installed and the platform for the boathouse is in place.

Phase 2, construction of the boathouse, is anticipated to begin in the summer of 2026.
