Volker Park - Park Improvements

This park improvement project includes the replacement of the old playground equipment that was damaged in 2025. It will also provide new amenities to improve this neighborhood park to keep pace with our growing community. This includes a new picnic shelter, washroom, parking, zipline, and spray park.

Results from the public engagement phase in 2025 indicated a strong interest in developing a spray park at Volker Park. This also aligned with the City’s Capital Plan for 2025/2026 to establish a new spray park on the west side of Maple Ridge.
