The City of Maple Ridge plans to replace the existing south slope forcemain, which is nearing the end of its service life.

Description

The existing forcemain is located within the Fraser River Escarpment area. The project will re-route the forcemain to the north of the existing escarpment area and Haney slide.

This investment will support increased density and future growth in the city.

The project is being constructed in phases.

Status

The next phase to be constructed will be the section along Cliff Avenue and 221 Street to Lougheed Highway.
