Hammond Road, Maple Ridge, BC (West Street to 203 Street)

The City of Maple Ridge has completed the installation of a multi-use path on Hammond Road between West Street and 203 Street.

The project provides active transportation facilities that are separated from traffic and will eventually link to a growing network of multi-use paths. The project included a pedestrian-activated crossing at the Maple Meadows West Coast Express station.

Wedler Engineering LLP completed the design and B.A. Blacktop Infrastructure Inc. constructed the project. Construction was completed in late 2023. The final lighting installation was delayed due to supply chain issues and was completed in the spring of 2024.
