City thanks attendees, volunteers, sponsors, partners and businesses following third annual festival
Maple Ridge, B.C., Sept. 8, 2026 – Downtown Maple Ridge was buzzing with music, activity and community spirit as residents and visitors came together on Saturday, September 5 for the third annual Our Neck of the Woods festival.
The free, all-day festival transformed Memorial Peace Park and 224 Street into a vibrant celebration of live music, culture, local food, shopping and family fun. From afternoon programming at the Bandstand through to the evening headliners on the Golden Ears Main Stage, festivalgoers enjoyed nine live performances across three stages.
The music lineup brought something for everyone. Juno Award-winning country favourites Tim & The Glory Boys had the crowd singing along and swaying into the evening, while Bedouin Soundclash delivered their signature blend of reggae, ska and feel-good anthems.
Vancouver-based Dear Rouge closed out the night with a powerful, hometown performance that kept the crowd energized until the final song. The band also shared the news that they are expecting their second child, getting a warm response from the crowd and adding another memorable moment to the evening. Fans can also see lead singer Danielle McTaggart perform in her solo project, Larkk, at The ACT on Oct. 17.
Throughout the day, Canadian artists Elise LeBlanc, Janky Bungag and Antonio Larosa brought their own distinctive sounds to the festival, joined by rising artist Emmett Jerome. Together, the performers created a soundtrack that carried through the park, along 224 Street and into local shops and patios.
“What a day! Seeing Memorial Peace Park filled with thousands of people enjoying Our Neck of the Woods was truly special,” said Mayor Dan Ruimy. “This festival is about more than great live music. It makes music, arts and culture accessible, brings neighbours together, and gives families a chance to make lasting memories. It also draws thousands of visitors into our downtown, supporting local shops, restaurants, vendors and artists while showcasing everything Maple Ridge has to offer. Thank you to everyone who joined us, and especially to the organizers, staff, sponsors, partners, performers and volunteers who made this memorable day possible.”
