With her new project Larkk, Danielle McTaggart, the powerhouse voice behind the Canadian Juno Award-winning duo Dear Rouge, steps into an intimate, introspective space—one that trades the high-energy pulse of indie rock for the raw, poetic vulnerability of indie folk. She has spent years captivating audiences with electrifying performances and chart-topping alternative hits, sharing the stage with acts like Phantogram, Metric, Vance Joy, and The Beaches.
Larkk’s latest record Cinders is an intimate, personal collection of songs that unfold as a series of whispered confessions. Haunting piano and ethereal vocals create a lush yet delicate soundscape, blending Phoebe Bridgers-esque storytelling with the cinematic depth of Big Thief and Weyes Blood. With Larkk, music, movement, poetry, and expansive artistic expression combine—each element intertwining to capture the beauty and ache of being human and vulnerable.
Opening Act: Jenny Banai
Vancouver-based artist Jenny Banai is known for her captivating voice and emotionally rich performances. With two LPs, multiple Fraser Valley Music Awards, and credits in national media and TV soundtracks, Banai has earned recognition as one of Canada's distinctive singer-songwriters. Her atmospheric sound has been compared to “Sarah McLachlan meets Portishead” and “Radiohead meets Montreal art rock,” while remaining unmistakably her own.
