Inya has called Maple Ridge home since 2019, when she and her spouse chose to put down roots in this community.
A professional negotiator and strategic advisor in B.C.’s energy and natural resources sectors, Inya has built her career solving complex problems and bringing competing interests together. She holds a master’s degree in conflict management and is the founder of MRC Strategies, a Maple Ridge-based consulting firm.
Inya believes Maple Ridge is at an important point in its growth, and decisions made now will shape the community it becomes.
Running as an independent, Inya is focused on thoughtful and balanced growth, infrastructure and services that keep pace, stronger recreation and sports infrastructure, a thriving local economy, and preserving what makes Maple Ridge special – its history and character.
Inya will bring independent thinking, a collaborative approach to decision-making, and a commitment to ensuring residents’ voices inform her decisions on Council.
