Aug 13 Parking Impacts for Planet Ice and Albion Fairgrounds & Sports Complex

Residents please be advised of significant parking impacts to the Planet Ice and Albion Fairgrounds & Sports Complex facilities on August 13, 2026 from 5pm to 9pm.

Due to the simultaneously running Burrards Lacrosse game finals and the RCMP Musical Ride, a higher volume of traffic and parked vehicles are expected at these facilities. 

Event Guests:
  1. Burrards Lacrosse game attendees are asked to park in the parking stalls along the front of Planet Ice, accessible directly from the main gate at Planet Ice - see map for details
  2. RCMP Musical Ride guests are asked to park on the West side of the Planet Ice parking lot (accessible from Gate 2) or the rear parking on the Southeast side of Planet Ice (accessible from Gate 5) - see map for details.
  3. Mixed-use overflow parking for both events is available at the lot on Jim Robson Way and Lougheed Highway or at the Albion Fairgrounds main parking lots.
Sports Complex Users:

Please plan ahead for extra parking and traffic volume. Your patience is appreciated while these community events are taking place.
