To proactively replace aged water main infrastructure within its anticipated span of usefulness to ensure the continued and reliable working of the overall water system.
From the 126 Avenue and 220A Avenue intersection to 126 Avenue and Gray Street, continuing down Gray Street to the end of Kerry Crescent.
Local residents and traffic will encounter construction in the areas listed above. During the replacement, water supply may be shut off to facilitate the removal and replacement of water-carrying infrastructure. Dips in water quality as a result of the work may be temporarily observed, similar to those observed during routine water main flushing; please review our Water Supply and Quality page for tips on rectifying cloudy or milky water.
Parents looking to take their children to Alouette Elementary during the construction time should turn off 126 Street onto 219 Street, and/or take Issac Crescent to drop their children off at the front of the school.
