The Maple Ridge ACT (Arts, Culture, Theatre) Arts Centre is a hub of the Maple Ridge community for more than 20 years. Opened in 2003, the centre hosts a myriad of memorable events, from local school bands and dance recitals to major productions and concerts. The Maple Ridge ACT also highlights and cultivates local talent through the Art Exhibitions and Arts Programs.

Drama and artistic expression through music, dance and theatre have long been appreciated in Maple Ridge. Facilities like the ACT Arts Centre have been thriving for over a decade and contribute to the cultural experiences in Maple Ridge.
In addition to the ACT Arts Centre, there are numerous dance and music studios that perform at various venues year-round. We have an outdoor theatre in the country and concert bands that enlighten the crowds in the Maple Ridge parks and at our festivals. Performing in Maple Ridge is an experience to be had by all ages.

ACT Update
The City of Maple Ridge has assumed responsibility for operating The ACT Arts Centre effective January 1, 2026, and is currently rolling out an exciting lineup of programs, performances, and events over the coming year in the City-owned facility. The public can continue to purchase tickets, register for programs, and book spaces at MapleRidge.ca/Arts, and can follow The ACT Arts Centre’s new dedicated Instagram account, @ArtsMapleRidge, to stay up to date on programming, artist stories, and behind-the-scenes content.
