The Thornhill Trails are a section of the larger equestrian trail system and are popular with the equestrian community. Enjoy the surrounding nature while traversing the trail on horseback, mountain bike, or try this trail on foot if you're looking for a challenging hike.

A new parking lot with 24 parking stalls was completed in summer 2023. The entrance also includes a pit toilet, sign kiosk, picnic table, fencing, bike repair station, horse hitching post and mounting blocks. Read the city project page to learn more about this project.

New trail wayfinding signage was also recently installed across Thornhill. A printable trail map can be viewed here.
